📋 What You Will Do
As a Junior Associate AR, you will be the primary point of contact between Guidehouse
and US-based insurance companies, working to resolve healthcare claims efficiently
and accurately:
- Make outbound calls to US insurance companies to follow up on the status
of pending claims
- Contact insurers to get detailed explanations for claim denials and underpayments
- Take appropriate corrective action on claims to ensure timely and accurate resolution
- Prioritize claims from the aging basket and manage follow-up within defined timelines
- Document every action taken clearly in the claims billing summary notes
- Work on claim Denials, Rejections, and Leave of Absence (LOA)
accounts and make required corrections
- Conduct all international calls strictly following HIPAA compliance
and confidentiality norms
- Report any information security incidents to the appropriate internal authorities
- Follow and uphold the organization's information security policies at all times
